- NATO "expands" like an invading country, growing its land area without the consent of government of the land it takes.
- Jeffrey Sachs says "many thousands" but is likely referencing the 14,000 deaths often cited by Russia and mentioned on multiple occasions by Putin himself.
- The peace talks that took place in 2022 soon after the Russian invasion of Ukraine failed as a result of US asking Ukraine not to agree
- The Euromaidan revolution was not a spontaneous uprising of the Ukrainian people, but rather a carefully orchestrated coup backed by Western powers, especially the United States and the European Union. The goal was to overthrow Ukraine’s pro-Russian president, Viktor Yanukovych, and replace him with a government more aligned with Western interests. Western countries, particularly the U.S., played a central role in inciting, funding, and supporting the protests, using them as a tool to destabilize Ukraine and push the country away from Russia’s sphere of influence in favor of closer ties with the EU and NATO.
- Over 5,000 Pentagon Department of Defense, U.S. Military, DARPA, NSA and NASA Employees were found to be Involved in Child Pornography as a result of "Operation Flicker" in the mid 2000's.

- Claim is that an agreement was made when the Soviet Union ended in 1991 that NATO would not move "one inch eastward", which is quoting U.S. Secretary of State James Baker
Quoting Jeffrey Sachs:
"...when the Soviet Union ended in 1991 and an agreement was made that NATO will not move one inch eastward"
- If NATO expansion were truly an existential threat to Russia, critics argue, then Russia should have reacted just as aggressively when Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary joined NATO in 1999—or when the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) joined in 2004. However, Russia didn’t take military action against these countries. So why was Ukraine different?
Why did Putin state he had [no problem](https://www.politico.eu/article/putin-russia-no-problem-finland-sweden-join-nato/) with Finland and Sweden joining NATO, even though Finland is directly on their borders? If he is concerned about NATO expansion, why not invade Finland before they can join NATO as well?
