The Euromaidan was a grassroots movement
The Euromaidan revolution was a grassroots movement of Ukrainians who were fed up with Yanukovich's devotion to Russia, and the Ukranian people's desire to develop stronger ties with the west and free themselves from Russia.
Surveys show that the majority of Ukrainians wanted to join the west. How else did those mass protests occur? Were thousands of people all being paid by the US government without a single trace? Why isn't there any other evidence beyond a single leaked phone call of a diplomat expressing her preferences?
